Day 2 Butterfly Blossom

This is officially my all time favourite stamp from Little Claire.....I could play with this one all day......so pretty, delicate and creative.

On both cards I have stamped out additional butterflies to create additional dimension.  I have also used the stamp to create the backing design.  On both I have used nesabilites dies plus sentiment tags from Little Claire, promarkers and glitter glue.

Little Claire Day 1 New releases

Tis Monday - return to work today after the half term break, batteries recharged, I hope that the pupils are also rested and ready for learning!

Spent a couple of days working with new stamps from Little Claire - today's releases Little Doggies and Girl Cat.

Newbies on the way from Little Claire

The Design Team have all been very busy working / playing with the new stamps and are set for launches this week.

The stamps are being showcased over 3 days.......tomorrow it is Little Doggies and Girl Cat.  I can't wait to see what my Design Teamies have been creating.

Wedding Set RWAV from Little Claire

Happy Monday to everyone.............this time next week all being well I shall be enjoying my February half term.....I have a special birthday coming up and am escaping to Barcelona with my lovely hubbie for a few days :)

Sympathy Card - Cherish, Hugs and Dreams

Our daughter got in touch this afternoon to ask if I could make her a sympathy card for her boss.........inspired by a design created by Helen Nile I used the Little Claire Club Stamp for January, Cherish Hugs and Dream......................

Hearts and Flowers

A share of a couple of cards made using Little Claire's latest project stamp set for February.  A great little set, quick and easy if you wish as the tree and embellishments are all in one.  Simple to colour in and flexible through different colour tones and embellishments.  Also included are a lavender planter,  a hedgehog whose obviously been rolling in the flowers and a pretty floral border stamp.

Backing papers are from Craftwork cards as is the card candy.  Martha Stewart border punch and ribbons from Little Claire. Brads, pearls and spun thread from "the" stash.  All coloured with promarkers.

Just back in from the Stitch and Hobbycraft Show at Event City in Manchester...............a fabulous show, resisted buying any stamps but have come home with some lovely Memory Box Dies, some Zentangle to get my head round and more adhesive embellishments from Mie Flower.....plus mono cat fabric to make some more Cat Nip Sachets for my local Cats Protection Branch................mmh......now a little snooze or craft...............????

Getting ahead!

Inspired by Julie Hickey - I have spent today using the Garden paper pack from Docrafts - also available from Little Claire, using delicious papers and a selection of punches.

The first is one of two Mother's Day cards - getting ahead. I have added gold mirri candy to the flowers and a large glitter embellishment to the smaller flower.  The butterflies are layered together which adds more dimension.  I have outlined the card with a fineliner and added little dots to suggest movement of the butterflies.

The second card using a very large flower punch layered with 2 additional flower shapes.  I also punched out the leaves and the little tag.  Another glitter embellishment for the centre of the flower.
I have edged both the cards with a promarker - antique rose which softens the edges and tones with the paper pad.

I was going to be very brave and cut into new papers which arrived from both Craftwork Cards and Lily of the Valley - yes been treating myself - but just couldn't do it......need to look and admire them a little longer I think............bet I'm not the only crafty horder :)  xxGaynor

Friday Project at Little Claire

 

Morning all, 1st February and it is my turn for the Friday Project from Little Claire.

 

 

I needed to make a “special” birthday card for a friend, she is a massive cat lover celebrating a birthday ending in a zero. So I just had to choose the special square stamp from Little Claire featuring mischievous moggies – Cat in a Box and embellished using the special sentiment set. I stamped an additional cat to layer up and create dimension.




I have used backing papers from Little Claire their “Blank Canvas” pad which is available online – delicious pad, some embellished, very lovely……………….used Nestabilities Scalloped Square and Circle dies.Black mementos ink pad, Martha Stewart Border Punch, and a little cutie cat punch, makes a change from card candi.  As it is me…..yes there are adhesive clear tiny crystals added, always need a little sparkle!

I hope you like my quickie make……………..hope “Birthday Girl”manages to smile……..I was a little worried whether to include her special 0 in the card! Am sure I’ll be finding out shortly!
