Happy Easter!

A little Easter card to share which I made for my lovely mum-in-law.  I have used the Little Claire Changing Tree set alongside their lovely Easter Tree Stamp set.  A quick and easy card.............used backing papers, promarkers, ribbon, card candi and glitter glue all from Little Claire.

Have also made a similar card for a special friend............but the glue is still drying........

Friday Blog Project with Little Claire

Good morning, my turn for the Friday blog project spot with Little Claire.........  A slant on an easel card......which is made as an easel but decorated on its' side!

Pictured are the stamp sets used:

I have used a 6" x 6" scalloped card base plus half a card for the easel.  Used a heart die cut, backing paper from Little Claire, white organza ribbon, Memento black ink and promarkers as shown.

 

I have coloured the organza ribbon with the Antique Rose Promarker.

 

Stamped additional cupcakes for use as embellishments.  Punched out the sentiment with a 2" scallop punch.

 

The cover of the base card is scored and folded at the half way mark........or a complete scallop.  The half card is trimmed slightly to allow the original scallop border to be retained.

 

 

The image is fixed using 3D pads as are the little embellishment cupcakes and sentiment.

 

 

Glitter glue added...........I don't think I make many cards without glitter glue.....may have to be one of my desert island requests!

 

Need to get this card into the post now.........................and yes the recipient makes amazing cupcakes.....Happy Birthday Laura!

 

Am such a lucky person - lots of DT work to be getting on with...................Little Claire have some amazing new stamps in the pipeline...................and I get to play...........lots!

Blog Challenge at Little Claire

Evening all - hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.  We have been busy getting our daughter organised today ready for her study tour to Toronto Canada tomorrow.  Airport check-in at 6.00am!

So once little Miss was sorted.................I checked through my lovely goodies purchased at Papercrafts at Harrogate yesterday - so pleased, just need more time to play.  Worked this afternoon on the cards in preparation for Little Claire's Wirral Workshop on the 4th May, which is all booked up.  Have the designs prepared, just needed to make 3 of each design..............it does takes ages.......so didn't get much time to play.  Also worked on my project for next week with Little Claire......"wait and see!"

So the latest blog challenge with Little Claire is cards with folds:

I have used Butterfly Blossom - a favourite at the moment.  Using a 6" x 6" scalloped card as a base I scored the top section and folded it back.

I have used Nestabilities Dies and  Memory Box dies for the butterfly.  Adhesive pears, glitter glue, coloured using promarkers.

Please check out my fellow teamies designs...........they are all very lovely.

Catching Up........

Am on a to do day today........loads of lists, action required so I can get things crossed off.....started off a little tricky though earlier on......just kept doing things which weren't on the list.....corrected now, written on and crossed off......I will get there honest!  Okay rant over!

Happy Mother's Day to all us mum's today............I got treated to an enormous bouquet of mixed roses from my son, with chocolate and card with vouchers.......he he even a voucher that he will wash up a full load of pots - might keep that one until Christmas!

A lovely text from my daughter who is working this weekend, milking 450 cows, plus lambing at college between shifts, she tells me she has had only 6 hrs sleep since Thursday - I am trying not to worry, she is off to Toronto next Monday for a study tour for 8 days!  Packing list emailed over to her - she is so going to struggle to travel with all her stuff in a holdall.....normally at least the kitchen sink is on her list.

Anyhow thought I'd share another couple of cards created recently with the newbies from Little Claire.  I am busy prepping for the up and coming Wirral Day with Little Claire in May.........3 cards created, 2 designs to do.....and I maybe working with yet another new design.......that I am told is still at the seed stage.......this could be a little bit at the last minute design me thinks!

 

Tulip Cat - Now isn't this one a cutie.........so proud and happy......mixed with butterflies and glitter glue a favourite for me.

 

 

and Harriet - I have paper pieced the young ladies dress and boots. 

 

Now creative hat back on time.......................and more ticks needed on my list!

You're so Tweet! New monthly stamp from LC

Evening all,

1st March and a new monthly stamp set from Little Claire.  I'm enjoying getting home without needing my car lights and later this month the hour changes - looking forward to lighter, brighter, warmer days :)

This cutie stamp set is fabulous for this time of year, new beginings, bright cheerful and full of promise.

We are celebrating our son's birthday tomorrow...........don't quite know where all the years have gone.........He's now exactly half my age.......answers on a postcard....not!
