Here comes Summer..............................

Okay probably not very funny.......................but I get so fed up of people labelling "Manchester" as wet......and I am looking forward to welcoming 8 teachers from Durban, South Africa to my school a week on Monday I so want Mr Sunshine to shine.......so that they get to see a British Summer........in all the glory.  Sorry if you are reading this and live in the now designated drought areas of the UK.  Here is the North West we are not lacking in rainfall..............and it hasn't stopped raining all day today.....at least the worms and my local blackbirds are quite happy.

Anyhow I have realised that I haven't posted the remaining 2 cards created with a RWAV Seasons set from Little Claire - autumn and winter................

I enjoyed layering up elements from the window scene in the winter window to act as accents.  I also used a different glitter that is in strands and has a look of sparkling snow................

As usual images shaded using promarkers, Martha Stewart Snowflake border and the little snowflakes added around the window.  Leaf punch in the autumn card is from Little Claire.

The stamps are such fun to use, once you have chosen the colour pallet there is no stopping.  Just how long you have to play....................

Hope everyone has a lovely week...............at least the plants are happy:) xxGaynor

New releases from Little Claire

Hope that you have all had the opportunity to enjoy a little warmth in the beautiful sunshine.  Yesterday I went on a mini cruise............ooh I know......sounding posh. The cruise was on a lovely Mersey Ferry  - Snowdrop, Salford Quays Manchester to Liverpool along the Manchester Ship Canal.................and it was wonderful, took 6 hours - herons galore, lots of baby ducklings with their parents, gannets.  The trip along the canal  was amazing through all the different types of bridges and locks.  Passing huge ships coming up the canal to collect scrap metal, cargo and chemical.  It was so very funny.....the crew on the big ships were taking pictures of "the little people" on the Snowdrop ferry.  Saying "little" the capacity is 650 passengers.  The trip was sold out  at 276 passengers.  This meant that should the weather prove inclement there would be plenty of comfortable indoor seating.  Yes I would definitely recommend it.

So after all that fresh hot air and Mr Sunshine yesterday..........today I have made some cards, and keep  topping up the aftersun.............ouch!

Onto the cards..............

The wheelbarrow is so very versatile......male or female and obviously can be linked seasonally depending on the recipient. The wheelbarrow stamp also comes with a very apt sentiment..............or of course works fab with the circular sentiment stamps.  They are so very easy to use and matt and layer............I'd certainly miss them from my craft box should they go "walkies".

I love the jug with the big daisies.............another make you feel happy stamp, or to show someone you care and perhaps a thank you.

As per normal, punches Martha Stewart, embellished with adhesive pearls, prima flowers, brads and gems.  Images coloured in using Pro Markers and an assortment of backing papers.          NO Glitter glue.......okay I may, just may go back and add some later.
Hope that you like them.  xxGaynor
