Monotone Challenge with Little Claire

Morning everyone,

Have to admit I am "bubbling" - on count down to going to the airport to pick our daughter up after 8 months away in New Zealand.................banners are up, with obligatory balloon and bedroom ready to welcome a VIP.....................

So a quickie catch up post to share the card I created for the latest blog challenge with Little Claire - Monotone - I love Daisy Teddy which once this piccie was taken had a couple of heart punched embellishments added with crystals for my hubbie's valentines day card. The greeting is from the beach huts set.  There is a super duper prize on offer to the lucky winner of this month's challenge...................go on give it a go.....

Off now to check my teamies makes......then off to the airport.......hope my waterproof mascara does what it says on the box...................we shall see!

Catch you later...................xxGaynor

Two more..............from Little Claire

Two more releases from Little Claire....... Firstly, Meadow Girl......very lovely and Picnic with a Campervan........love Campervans......

I have accented the first card with a new die cut from Memory Box.......love the little stars....added a little glitter glue which does twinkle......pretty.

The second card has been accented with a Martha Stewart Border Punch and a little interesting thread.......brayering and frame added as per yesterday's cards.....this really is a stunning image.

In the first card I die cut a circle and brayered  the exposed area....with Archival Inks....I have punched circles on  post it notes to mask off the area to suggest a moon on all cards.............

The Picnic and Campervan images have been stamped and embossed......it is a long time since I last had my heat gun out......and enjoyed the magic of heat embossing.

Final share tomorrow...................xxGaynor

Silhouette Elephants and......

Little Claire are releasing two new stamps today - silhouettes..............Elephants and Do all things.......

Here are a few of my makes...............

In both cards I masked the central areas and shaded with Archival inks and my brayer.  The jagged outline was created using a ruler and a fineliner pen.......keep the pen against the ruler and create random squiggles......as you can tell I liked using this technique to help frame the finished design.

Again I have used Archival Inks to add shade to the base card.  A simple case of matting and layering with bows, glitter and crystals added to embellish.

Available to purchase through their website www.littleclaire.co.uk

Additional newbies tomorrow..............

New February project stamp set from Little Claire

Happy 1st February....................not quite sure whether I blinked in January........the month went sooooo fast......bit cold and blustery today........but I can't moan winter in the North West has been wet, yes.....but very mild also.  Treated myself to some Daffodils today grown in the UK of course.

Which leads nicely onto a couple of shares using the lovely Fabulous Day Stamp set from Little Claire......I have created pyramid cards........and really enjoyed trying something new.....I uploaded a tutorial how to make the base card on a recent Friday blog for Little Claire.

The die I have used is from Nestabilities, the butterflies punched using my Martha Stewart Punch, coloured using promarkers, oddments of ribbon, some adhesive stones and glitter glue.......

Looking forward to seeing what my fellow design teamies have created using this set..............stay safe and warm everyone..................xxGaynor
