Port Sunlight- Saturday 12th May

Port Sunlight was busy, bustling and inspirational......I do love this show, the setting in the village is fabulous - the pub lunch yummy and even a bridal party taking pictures in the gardens.  An escape!

I had my list and purchased dies on the list, some cards ready to be made into 200 invitations for my local Cats Protection Open Day - so yes I did also buy a new cat stamp - well three actually.......will have to see which I like best 200 times over.............some new Promarkers - shock horror had to throw one of my orginal promarkers in the bin on Sunday as it was all used up :(

I also purchased 2 Nellie Snedden stamps as did my good mate Sue.  We thought maybe purchase just one each and share but we were smitten and both bought the same stamps each.............so I had to have a play.....
I have die cut all the stars, using backing paper from the stash - was very good on Saturday and did not buy any backing paper!!!  The sentiment is a little tag from Little Claire.  Coloured using promarkers and embellished with black tiny pearls which I think work on the "male" themed card......hopefully they look like rounded nail heads.........

This card uses some dies cut with my news purchases - Spellbinders......red brads, seed pearls once again.  The sentiment from the new set from Little Claire Dictionary Definitions.  Coloured using promarkers, backing card from the stash and some embossed bazzill blue card.......This card is for my lovely dad for Father's Day next month.

Whatever you are doing.............enjoy.........xxGaynor

Keep in Touch and Robert and Daisy.

As promised the further 2 cards.  In this card using "Keep in Touch I have used the inside of an envelope as a backing paper..........torn off two corners from letters received and added a packet of stamps.......
I have used Newsprint Card Candi available from Little Claire and the new Sentiment Set just released,  A little bakers' twine and my trusty promarkers.

Using Robert and Daisy I have used the same backing papers as yesterday, all are matted onto black card.  A little raffia added for interest.  Coloured using promarkers and faux stitching added for interest.

Please check out my design teamies blogs at Little Claire............I am so loving seeing all the different designs created using the latest range of Jubblies stamps from Little Claire.............hope you are too. xxGaynor

Keep in Touch from Little Claire

Hope you have all had a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend............that extra day so makes all the difference......like a box of yummy chocolates but without the calories!
This afternoon - once all the jobs done I enjoyed crafting with two of the Lovely Jubblies stamps from Little Claire - "Keep in Touch" and "Robert and Daisy."
Isn't he so...............lovely......and the cutie isn't bad either!  I have used an old map as background paper, some baker's twine........this took me a little while to find as I had had a tidy up - don't think tidy ups make me any more creative! The cover from some stamps - brown craft paper and trusty promarkers.

"Robert and Daisy" using an orange and brown colour way............loving all the red, white and blue but was ready for a change........also shows how versatile the stamp is.  I have paper pieced the unbrella and Robert's Gillet.  Card candi coloured with promarkers to match.  The papers are from "The Works" purchased this morning.............Chilli pack.....I have added faux stitching for interest and all is matted and layered onto black card............I do have a couple of other cards..............will post later in the week.  Have a fabulous week everyone...........xxGaynor

Travelling Daisy

Last couple of cards using one of the latest releases from Little Claire - Travelling Daisy.......This one is for my Mother-in-Law whose birthday is in July........I've used free papers from the latest Making Cards Magazine - new sentiment from Little Claire - this set to be released on the 14th May.  Used Martha Stewart Zig Zag punch, and nesties bunting dies.  Card candi coloured with promarkers.  Image coloured with promarkers.  I love her.................
Same papers used for this design...........more bunting using same die pack - penants this time....this one was for my dad............but has needed to go to Little Claire............guess I have an excuse to spend some more time crafting..........not a shame!

I plan to work with the remaining 2 stamps sets from the Loverly Jubblies range over the long weekend........oh very lucky me..........Whatever you are doing and whoever you are sharing your time with - be happy.............xxGaynor

Loverly Jubblies - Maybe

Another couple of cards using "Maybe" from the Loverly Jubblies new range of stamps from Little Claire.
Isn't he so lovely............I have used X cuts dies for both the stamped images.........the sentiment is from a soon to be released new sentiment set from Little Claire.......all dictionary definitions and make a great addition to any crafters "swag!"  I have used promarkers and backing paper from the stash.....I keep dibbing into "the stash" to make more space............Port Sunlight beckons and I need "stashing" room......I must have a big big stash as I never seem to make more space.................am sure I am not the only crafter that is a hoarder lol!
Another x cut die and a different sentiment from the same pack.  Card candi coloured using promarkers for an exact match...........scalloped punch used for the die cut.............another couple of cards from me tomorrow......I promise................xxGaynor

Little Claire - King Robert and Queen Daisy

Little Claire's have released their club stamp for May so
cute! The set includes a gorgeous stamp featuring King Robert and Queen Daisy
and a fab circle sentiment. Club members receive the stamps and a pack with materials and instructions to make a complete card plus instructions to make two more. Contact Little Claire for more details.

I have used papers from my stash mounted onto black card.  Die cut corners and nestabilities lace circle on card 1.  Coloured using promarkers and white card candi coloured to match The second card has had the corners inverted with a corner punch on the stamped image.  Additional cut triangles mounted onto black card for embellishment and interest.  Sentiment matted onto scalloped punched circle. Coloured again with promarkers and added card candi.

I admit I am being to feel excited about the Diamond Jubilee and also the Olympics..............

King Robert and Queen Daisy certainly brighten up even the wettest day..............xxGaynor
