Wavy Cats with Little Claire

Hi,

An additional share using the newly released Wavy Cats from Little Claire - my ultimate favourite stamp set - greetings that come with the set are purrfect too!

To create the card I stamped onto the stunning butterfly backing paper from Little Claire - there is an array of colours - check out the new papers - fabulous.

I stamped in black and embossed in clear.  Coloured using promarkers, diamond glaze added to the black cats - wow they are so beautiful.....yes I do have a black cat - he is known at "The Bilboa" stunning, sleek and oh so very handsome....and he gets told that at least a dozen times daily.  So loved being owned by our duo of felines.

Matted and layered onto black card and added to a scalloped base card.............."Simples...."

Hope you likey xxGaynor

Beach Scene from Little Claire

Hi,

Oh thoughts of sunshine, warmth and lighter nights....this scene also reminds me of our beloved Cornwall - family holidays when the children were much younger.

Yes I have still managed to incorporate ultra fine glitter - would be so out of character not to.  The backing paper is new from Little Claire. I have added twine, punched tags once again fixed using a brad.  Faux border drawn using a ruler and a micro pen coloured using promarkers.  Plus adhesive crystals of course......xxGaynor

My favourite 5 creations using Little Claire stamps.

Good Morning everyone,

I am definitely on the count down till school breaks up on Friday - the pupils are so ready for their breather - the little ones are looking forward to spending time with their families and of course everything crossed for a visit from Father Christmas.  Having visited a fabulous Pantomime last week in Stockport - yes I too will be looking to spy Santa and his reindeer on Christmas Eve.  Primary Schools are such amazing places to have the privilege to work in....for all my moans and groans I really do have the best job in the world.  Less of me and on with my share of my favourite 5 from 2015:

Firstly using the "Wavy Cats" - I know that this stamp will permanetly be on my craft table. I have added glossy accents to the cats to add dimension and interest.

Silhouette Owl Tree - so love the silhouette stamps from Little Claire and the Dictionary Sentiments. This is one of the two Mother's Days cards I created.

Next " Lovely Hedgehogs Set" What's not to like with these guys.  I quite like to allow the stamp design to shine and feel the "white space" creates a little sophistication and interest.  Accented with a brad and off cut of polka dot ribbon plus adhesive crystals of course.

Surprise, surprise, there appears to be a theme developing - cats and silhouettes, using
Silhouette Cat Tree Stamp.  Here I have created my background using Brusho pigments, also punching some tiny butterflies from the waste background paper to extend the design.

and last but definitely not least "Man with hats" the stamp from the latest issue from Little Claire magazine. I have teamed the design with hessian ribbon and a button from the stash......away from the glitter and bling for me.

I hope that you have been a little inspired by my choices - I know it does me good to look back and reappraise.  All being well I plan to have the opportunity for lots of make and creative time over the Christmas break - once I'm allowed my craftroom back - it does need to look like a dining room over Christmas - best behaviour when the family come round.  Wishing each and everyone lots of health, wealth and happiness..........thank you on behalf of Little Claire for all your support and lovely comments throughout 2015. xxGaynor

Little Claire - Friday Blog Project - New Stamps :)

Morning everyone,

Life is certainly fast for many at present - so time to stop the rollercoaster and breath...
Little Claire have released a selection of beautiful new stamps this week and when I have more time I am looking forward to being creative, some "r and r" time.

Meet the first of three new sets "Wavy Cats" aren't they just so fabulous - being owned by two felines the design certainly brings a cheer to my heart!

The stamp is a "wave with tulips and three cats" - I have joined the image together to create a design across the page.  Repeated a further two times.  I have stamped in black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Coloured using my trusty promarkers. Matted and layered onto yellow, orange then black mounted onto a 148mm x148mm base card. Fine glister dust added using a quickie glue pen - can't do without my sparkle!

I have added glossy accents to the black cats to add dimension, shine and raise the image.

The design also comes with three different sentiments - I have chosen the "Have a Purrfect Birthday" as this card is ready to write and post to my dear friend Pat - yes she loves her cats also.

Hope I may have inspired a little and no mention of the "C word.

Just a piccie of my delightful Isla - she loves her "decorated tree."  Take care guys, here's to you and yours a wish for health, wealth and lots and lots of happiness.  xxGaynor

Three Sparkly Snowmen from Little Claire - Friday Blog Project

Hello and good morning - well I've made it an eight week half term - Halloween Disco later today for the "little ones" then half terms beckons for me...and chill.

I am hoping to have loads of crafting time over the week, after all that school planning is out of the way first of course- have some newbies to play with from Little Claire - ssh unable to share as yet but they are as lovely and gorgeous as ever and not Christmas...

On with today's make - Three Sparkly Snowmen - yes they are bright and cheery - not quite ready to think cold and dark....they really are a happy and vibrant trio.  So on with today's recipe:

Ingredients:

148mm x 148mm white base card LC
Dark metallic grey card for matting and layering
Mementos black ink pad
Tag punch
Pro Markers:  moss green, lime green, poppy, cool grey 1 and 4 and pastel blue
Red 10mm satin edge organza ribbon
Black adhesive pearls, fine white glitter and lime brad.

Method:

Stamp image as shown onto white stamping card and trim to 10cm x 10cm. Stamp Happy Christmas onto small individual punched tags. Outline all with lime green promarker.
Matt red snowfall paper 138mm x 138mm and stamped image onto grey metallic card 142mm x 142mm and 105mm x 105mm

Create a triple bow using organza ribbon and fasten around the matted backing papers.
Adhere stamped matted image as shown using 3D foam pads to add dimension.  Fix tag sentiments using small brad.
Colour image using promarkers.
Carefully shade round stamped images with blue pastel promarker – this adds dimension.

Add tiny black crystals and fine glitter to accent.

Fix card topper to base card using double sided tape.

Hope you have enjoyed by cheerful make.  Cheerio from me for today xxGaynor

Friday Blog Project with Little Claire

Good Morning,

My turn today to share the Friday Project at Little Claire.  I used one of their new Christmas Stamps - "We 6 Cats" with text from their Little Dinkie range.

Piccies to show how my card came together:

I have used a 15 x 15cm card base and matted and layered 13 x 13cm, 12.5 x 12.5cm and 12 x 12cm.

I die cut the card prior to stamping the "We 6 Cats" using Memento Black ink as I used promarkers to colour the stamped image.

Matts and layers as shown.  The white backing card has been embossed using a bauble design to mirror the "cat bauble."

I die cut a "bauble" hanger and created a bow.

I matted and layered using double sided tape.  The stamped image is fixed using 3D foam pads.  I glued the star behind the matted bauble as I felt it detracted from the stamped design.

I have added white glitter to highlight the design and faux crystals to the embossed bauble background.

Lastly I stamped the Happy Christmas Sentiment.  I hope perhaps I may have given you a little inspiration today.  I am so looking forward to seeing the new Little Claire Project Club Magazine - hope you are too.

Thank you as always for all your support Gaynor and everyone at Little Claire. xx

Swirlball Flowers - Friday Blog Project

Hi from everyone at Little Claire,

Friday Blog Project from myself (Gaynor) today...I am scheduling this post as currently watching the tennis on a Saturday evening ...and enjoying all the action.

Today's card has been created using a shadow box of pigment inks - a backdrop for a beautiful stamped image from the Little Claire Swirlball Flower Set

Here is my tutorial in piccies:

I added glitter just to the flowerheads that were stamped into the ink shadow. Before adding the glitter allow the pigment ink to dry.

My project links in with this month's current Blog Challenge - July in Bloom.  There is a fabulous prize on offer.  Hoping I may have provided a little inspiration.  xxGaynor
