Friday Project over at Little Claire - Silhouette Owl Tree and Fabulous Day

Morning all.

Gaynor here with this week's Friday Blog Project using the Owl Tree Silhouette Stamp - this little stamp is a firm favourite in my Little Claire collection and Fabulous Day- both sets available on the Little Claire Website.

A quickie card that allows creativity - my best form of crafting - a little mess then the "big" reveal! Anyhow on with the piccies:

Using a 6" x 6" base card I masked off the area I didn't wish to be inked.

Using inks of your choice and a little Cut and Dry Foam or any other fabric that won't leave a weave print add colour to the working area.

Ink up the Silhouette Owl Stamp and stamp twice without reinking:

So still looking messy - I normally begin to tidy away at this point...and the reveal:  Add sentiment of your choice, I used the greeting from the Fabulous Day Stamp Set.

I have added gold Liquid Pearls to the branches and Glossy Accents to all the owls on the first stamped image.  Glossy Accents goes cloudy as it dries then dries to pure gloss shine - quite beautiful.

Lastly I added a double line free hand around the four sides to complete the card.

Hope you have enjoyed my little tutorial - over to you! xxGaynor

Blog Challenge 57 with Little Claire - Go Outdoors

May 16th and time for another challenge from Little Claire - Outdoors theme:

Well it didn't take me long to decide to use the new stamp from Little Claire featuring a cat.  Those that know me understand that I love cats and have been a member of my local Cats Protection group for almost 20 years.  Being owned by two furries myself my like for this design was instant.

Using a textured background base card.  The design stamped and embossed onto a Brusho background simply matted and layered with a trio of tiny punched butterflies.  Fine glitter added to the sun, adhesive gems and faux stitching.  A great general card added to the stash ready to personalised as and when required.  A great prize on offer this month from Little Claire - go on, you need to be in it to win it.  Cheerio for now.  xxGaynor

Little Claire Silhouette Stamps

Evening all,

1st May already - and a longer weekend to look forward to...

1st of the month also means a new project pack launch from Little Claire - a duo of loviness this month.  Either an outdoor scene with a cutie cat or romantic with a couple ballroom dancing...

Less blurb and time for a share:

Both backgrounds have been created using Brusho pigment powders - method shown in a previous Friday Blog Project for Little Claire in April.  Stamped in black pigment ink and embossed with clear powders.  Both simply matted and layered and embellished as shown.

Here's a piccie of the full stamp set with sentiments:
