Little Claire's Friday Project Pyramid Butterfly Tree.

Morning everyone, Gaynor here,

Well first week back - and it feels fabulous, batteries recharged and ideas flowing.......and that's just work ha, ha,  I hope each and everyone enjoyed their Christmas and I wish you well for 2014.

On with today's project: A pyramid card - have been fancying a play with this style for a little while and the Little Claire Friday Project gave me the incentive to play.  I have used the beautiful Butterfly Tree Stamp Set which includes additional stamps which I haven't used in this project.  Once again I have used my trusty promarkers, a little glitter glue and of course adhesive stones.

I cut 3 x 5" squares and scored a fold diagonally.

Using wet glue I joined the three squares together.

Showing both front and back views.

I punched three holes to thread ribbon through to assemble the card.

I threaded through the ribbon prior to adding my chosen pretty paper again using wet glue which allows the opportunity to line up correctly.

Die cut my shape using a nestabilities die and stamped and coloured in the image using the promarkers shown. I also cut a small die for the stamped sentiment.

Assembled the card using 3D foam pads, a couple of butterflies punched using a Martha Stewart Punch.

A little closer to show the embellishments used.

Finished card.

I hope you have enjoyed my little make.  Lots happening recently at Little Claire - delicious new stamps just released and more on the way.  New project challenge also begins tomorrow......
Well that's it from me for now......................xxGaynor

Daisy Bear - Little Claire

Happy New Year to one and all, wishing you all health, wealth and lots of happiness.  I thoroughly enjoyed bringing in the New Year watching Gary Barlow live in concert and the amazing firework display...........felt sorry for all those watching in the rain.....and of course those watching the concert might not have been able to enjoy the firework display........best of both worlds......comfy cosy at home.....with my lovely husband and our two cats Billy and Isla.

On with a further share from the new stamps from Little Claire - Daisy Bear.......isn't she so lovely?

Again I have paper pieced Daisy......the backing papers are from a pad by LOTV.......I became quite brave and starting using the papers........I have a multitude of beautiful papers.......and feel so naughty when I begin to use them.......silly really as I have very little space for more newbies........notice to self, use the papers then I can buy more.....................

We shall see.......

Off to my mum's and dad's for a Take-a-Away Chinese tea later........decs all down this morning and safely back up in the loft........feeling refreshed and renewed.

Take care everyone...........I'll be back over the next couple of days to share more designs.....xxGaynor
