Papercraft Essentials Magazine

Phew what a week.....................our daughter had a very nasty car accident on Monday - a big 4 x 4 failed to stop and ploughed into the back of her...............her beautiful purple Fiesta is no more and she has 2 breaks in her arm, excessive bruising and whiplash. ........and bless her still managing to smile, whilst missing her independance and being able to work on a farm which she so loves.............You just never quite know what may be round the corner in life...........and probably a good job we don't always know......

Onto other matters...............Alongside my Little Claire Design Teamies a few of our cards were published in the latest edition of Papercraft Essentials.............and here is mine  - might you have this stamp or similar and feel the need to be creative?

Cut out circle sentiment, matt on the scalloped lime green bazzill card circle. Fix to bottom right hand corner using 3D foam pads. Fix hedgehog to panel.

3. Colour using promarkers. Add a fine line around edge of stamped image to replicate stitching.

Last but not least my favourite............Flossie and the Daisy Chain.....

I confess this is my favourite.............love it, love it, love it................not sure whether it is the thought of resting on a stone wall in the warm sunshine...........escaping and relaxing.........could be the flowers......or maybe, just maybe the pussycat...............yep all of it.

The stamp creates this card.................I have used a Nestie's label and shaded the edges.  Coloured using pro markers.  Punch flowers and the die cut leaves from Little Claire.  Yes she does have a little bling - tiny ab crystals added to the flowers with a few small adhesive pearls for interest.  I wonder have you been able to resist all week to wait and see..........or did you commit earlier in the week and teat yourself?  This set is a NEED and not a want:) xxGaynor

Day 5 - Flossie and the butterflies!

Flossie and the butterflies is just so very adorable...............such a pleasure to work with.......pretty, pretty, pretty.  I have again used papers from the pad from Little Claire currently in the new section.  Added a Martha Stewart deep punched border and a little adhesive ribbon from "the stash".  I have punched additional tiny butterflies and added fine lines for movemet.  The edges of the backing paper have also been softened using a baby pink ink.  To finish candi ..................I hope you like her.............xxGaynor

Day 2 - Flossie skipping.

Isn't she just so adorable...................Very little needs doing to create a fabulous card with this stamp.......I have used craft card as my backing card..............used a Nestie's label die and Marianne's die cut flowers.  The leaves are from a die from Little Claire - not sure whether this is still available from them.  A little card candi and a few pro markers................  Hope you like her - I think she is really sweet.

Another card for day 3 tomorrow............xxGaynor
