Freedom!

At last almost caught up with life..............am sure as you mature time speeds up.  Had a crafty afternoon yesterday and when putting my new makes away realised that I hadn't finished posting a further couple of cards from last month's club stamp from Little Claire............possibly as I was also writing a couple of cards too.

When I write the top card I shall also add a sentiment.....so still not quite complete.

This really is a pretty set and once again very versatile............

We are off to Cornwall in the morning for an additional break.......very naughty I know.......but would be very silly to pass up the opportunity!

Going to diarise a couple of blog posts for next week........................yes 1st of the month and another delicious set from Little Claire................

Beautiful Buddleia - Friday Blog Project

Morning everyone - beginning of May and a long weekend ahead for some.

I have used two elements from the latest project stamp set from Little Claire and confess that for ease of use I cut the butterfly free from the single Buddleia flower stamp......so 2 stamps but three elements!

I have taken loads of piccies which I hope illustrates how the card "came" together.

A multitude of stamps in this month's project club pack.

I have used a "Fanciful" card blank from Little Claire and cut black matting card to 10cm x 10cm and 13.5cm x 4.5cm.
White stamping card 9.5cm x 9.5cm and a strip of coordinating backing paper 13cm x 4cm.

I randomly stamped 3 images with the Buddleia stamp and then created a mask on a post it note.

By carefully placing the mask over a stamped image multiple layers of images can be added.

I positioned the butterflies approaching the Buddleia flowerheads and shaded in using  Promarkers. I also ran my lime green Promarker around the border for added dimension and layering.

Carefully traced round all the stamped elements with a pastel blue Promarker.....to add depth and dimension.

Assembled the card as shown, using 3D foam pads on the stamped tile - sentiment stamped in each corner, adhesive gems and glitter glue.  I used a fineliner promarker to suggest flight paths of the butterflies.

Similar cards - different backing papers!

I hope you like my little make and have lots of fun with the latest project kit if you are already a club member. If not and you would like to regularly receive a new release monthly stamp set with a pack to make up one design plus additional ideas sheets pop over to Little Claire for further information.

I'm off now to have a nosey at other DT's make on the Little Claire website.

Whatever you are doing this weekend...............have a lovely time.      xx Gaynor

Beautiful Botanical!

Easter Sunday...................and I've been having a play with my Botanical papers from Craftwork Cards which I purchased at the Harrogate  Papercrafts Show.  I felt very brave beginning to use the fabulous papers..............unfortunately I tend to admire and hold on rather than be creative.....silly really.  I created in total 10 cards this afternoon so time definitely well spent and I am pleased with my makes.

Here are a couple of shares for today:

I have added glitter glue along the matted edges and diamond glaze to the flowers and card candi.  I have used a nestabilities circle lace die.................and cut out and added some of the tiny butterflies.

One more day before returning back to work on Tuesday............sure it will be okay once I get there.......ha ha......see it isn't only the pupils that have wobbles returning after school holidays......

Little Claire Shares - April Club Set

Evening all................yes I have been a bad blogger of late........sorry!

Just finished work for 2 weeks and 1 day........off to Cornwall in the morning for a breather......full of a cold......can't quite believe that escape begins tomorrow!  Yes I am so very lucky.  Vicky is joining us she suggests for her last family holiday.....this time last year she was talking to her soon to be employer in New Zealand.......this has been such a roller coaster year.....grabbing life and running with it so to speak.

Anyhow a catch up of some of my recent makes using Little Claire Stamps:

Will load additional piccies when I find them....................
